
For more than 65 years, Kaiser Permanente has been committed to the health and well-being of our members and the communities we serve. The reach of our efforts goes beyond the walls of our facilities. And the impact we make touches the lives of many thousands of individuals and families, both today and for generations to come.
In 2011, Kaiser Permanente invested a total of $1.8 billion in our wide-ranging Community Benefit programs, maintaining last year's record level. Membership in our various Care and Coverage programs increased to a record 547,842 individuals.
