Kaiser Permanente Northern California Community & Government Relations organizes community service projects for physicians and employees throughout the year. We support Kaiser Permanente’s mission of improving the health of our communities by helping connect our physicians and employees with available opportunities, from hands-on volunteering to skills-based opportunities to board service.
Unlike traditional corporate philanthropy, our approach to community involvement is more than funding. We work side by side with organizations we support to provide technical assistance, grant funding, volunteers—and to share our experience and expertise.
Events for which Kaiser Permanente has organized volunteers in the past include the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, Nike Women's Marathon, Special Olympics, and National Volunteer Week. You can learn more about the tremendous volunteer efforts of our physicians and staff at KPCares.org.
