New Orleans
Kaiser Permanente volunteers were in New Orleans May 17- 23, 2009. Working with HandsOn New Orleans and the New Orleans Faith Health Alliance, volunteers converted former Sunday school classrooms at the First Grace United Methodist church into a primary care clinic for the working uninsured. Volunteers also helped rebuild individual homes still damaged from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
