How to Apply
Kaiser Permanente encourages you to carefully review our eligibility requirements and the description of our funding priorities to help you determine whether or not to apply for funding.
Eligibility
Kaiser Permanente's national philanthropy program support charitable organizations and projects that are:
- Active in at least two of Kaiser Permanente’s eight regions
- Able to demonstrate impact in our Funding Priority Areas
- Engaged at the national level to improve community health
To help determine the eligibility and fit of your project or organization with Kaiser Permanente's grantmaking criteria, please complete our funding eligibility questionnaire. Instructions on applying for funding will be provided after you've completed the questionnaire.
The Decision Making Process
Timeline
Kaiser Permanente accepts applications year-round. Within two weeks of submission, applicants can expect acknowledgement via email that their proposal was received. If eligibility and application requirements have been met, applicants will also receive details on the timeframe in which their request will be reviewed and evaluated.
Requirements for Grants and Reports
A Grant Agreement may be issued to successful applicants. It will include information on various contingencies or pre-funding requirements. The agreement emphasizes Kaiser Permanente's expectations for superior performance. Final reports are required for all grants. Progress reports are a condition for release of funds for multi-year grants.
