Our Communities

Volunteer

Our volunteer programs complement Kaiser Permanente's mission to improve the health of our communities. In January 2012, more than 200 employees and physicians and their friends and families volunteered at two community health fairs -- in Annadale, Va. and in Colmar Manor, Md. -- on the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. These volunteers showed their commitment to the Kaiser mission and honored Dr. King's legacy of service.

Mid-Atlantic Medical Centers' Community Service Teams bring Kaiser Permanente employees together as they engage in local volunteer projects. These include partnerships with schools, food banks, hospices, shelters and many more nonprofit organizations.

For employees, our volunteer database has hundreds of opportunities that will match your skills and enthusiasms with the needs of people where you work and live.

To make a difference, sign up to volunteer.
