To support school-based health centers, community clinics, public hospitals, and public health systems, we pair funding with other Kaiser Permanente assets, including clinical practices, physician mentors, and health research. Through investments that totalled $10.5 million in 2011, we're helping our safety net partners adopt technology and other medical advances. These programs build their capacity to provide quality care for more people and prepare for health care reform.
