Gulf Coast Rebuilding Volunteer Project

At Kaiser Permanente, we are here to make lives better. In 2007 and again in 2008 a group of people from Kaiser Permanente headed to Mississippi and Louisiana to honor the pledge we made to help with the long-term Hurricane Katrina recovery and rebuilding efforts. There, they worked on a series of community building projects organized by the Hands On Network affiliates in Biloxi, Mississippi and New Orleans, Louisiana. In 2009, Kaiser Permanente will again return to the gulf coast to lead two seven-day service projects to help local residents continue to recover from the devastation that the hurricanes inflicted on the Gulf Coast in 2005.

The ALL Program: From Research to Rollout
