New facilities, expanded services, and more doctors for you

We’re committed to improving your Kaiser Permanente care experience. That commitment is at the heart of profound changes coming in 2012. They are a continuation of the changes that came with the opening of our state-of-the-art Capitol Hill Medical Center earlier this year.

Expanded services
Your access to services will continue to expand throughout 2012. You’ll have new locations to receive care, more ways to connect with your doctors, and more medical services available within Kaiser Permanente medical centers. We’re also moving some services and expanding the hours where demand is high — all to improve your care experience. Our commitment to you remains the same: We’ll provide you with quality physicians, the interactive technology that connects you to your health care team, and the resources you need to be your healthy best.

Kaiser Permanente physicians
We have been hiring excellent physicians from leading medical schools and community practices nationwide to join the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group. Almost 300 board-eligible and board-certified physicians have joined us since the beginning of 2009 in many specialties. All board-eligible physicians must be certified within five years of being hired or joining the medical group.

What does that mean to you?  You can receive more types of care than ever within Kaiser Permanente medical centers. That spells convenience and quality care for you, as well as improved coordination from your primary care doctor’s office to the specialist’s office, the lab, the pharmacy, and wherever care is provided by Kaiser Permanente.

We believe the results are better health outcomes and a healthier lives — which means you’re able to do the things you enjoy, with the people you love.
