Eat produce picked at its peak

Love cooking with fresh ingredients? Thanks to Kaiser Permanente and a group of local farmers market sponsors, all you have to do is step outside the front door at a number of our facilities to find farm-fresh produce.

Whatever seasonal vegetables and fruits you find at the farmers market, there’s a good chance we have a recipe for you — as well as tips for smart shopping and quick menu ideas.

We’re making moves

The following departments are moving to the 1st floor of our Baldwin Park Medical Center in early August (some services are by physician referral):

  • Urgent Care
  • Hematology/Oncology
  • Infectious Disease

Look for new directories and brochures — printed in English, Spanish, and Chinese — to help you find your way. Brochures can be found near directories and throughout the facility.

In Bellflower and Downey, the following departments are also moving.

  • Also in mid-August, Infectious Disease and Pulmonary Medicine will move from our Bellflower Medical Offices to Suite C120 of our Orchard Medical Offices, on the 1st floor of building C.
  • In mid-September, Hematology/Oncology will move from the 3rd floor of our Bellflower Medical Offices to the 1st floor (the former Emergency Department).
  • Medical Records and Medical Correspondence have already moved to the basement of our Bellflower Medical Offices.
