New services available in San Marcos
Our San Marcos Outpatient Medical Center has expanded its medical specialty services. Members in the area will now enjoy more convenient access to specialty services. Plus, the facility is connected to your electronic health record, so your health care team will have current information about your health to provide you with the most appropriate treatment.
The new services include:
- general surgery consultation and follow-up
- plastic surgery consultation and follow-up
- urology consultation and follow-up
- allergy consultation and follow-up
- rheumatology consultation and follow-up
- orthopedic day-of-injury care
San Marcos has been providing members with many other medical and surgical specialty services for some time in North County. These services include:
- cardiology
- dermatology
- endocrinology
- gastroenterology
- genetics
- hematology/oncology
- nephrology
- neurology
- occupational medicine
- physical medicine
- psychiatry
- pulmonology
Surgical specialty services include head and neck surgery, ophthalmology, and orthopedics.
Some services require a referral. Your primary care physician will give you the necessary contact information when referring you to one of these specialty departments.
